The Program (Credit Not Financial Analysis):
A one week intensive course designed to train account relationship executives, managers and officers on the sound application of the principles of lending, financial analysis and reading/interpretation of accounts, corporate credit evaluation and facilities structuring.
The course depends on case studies and lending exercises to develop participants’ awareness and application of corporate credit criteria and the ability to structure facilities.
Participants must prepare themselves for the course by completing a pre-course self-study for several hours prior to the commencement of the course.

Account Relationship Executive, managers and Officers responsible for analyzing and/or extending business credit.
Course Objectives:
· Distinguishing between the concepts of credit analysis and financial analysis. Additionally, to differentiate between the role of the credit analyst and the financial analyst.
· Developing an understanding of the corporate lending principles to enable participants to soundly apply such principles in granting credit.
· To interpret corporate financial information based on sound financial analysis.
· To understand corporate credit evaluation, in addition to understanding the identification and quantifying of risks and bank’s credit procedures.
· To analyze credit facilities, interpret relevant facility information and complete facility forms to Bank’s standards.
· To structure credit in an appropriate and sound manner to cater for the needs of both; customers and the bank.

Three global book are distributed to the the trainees in this training course, namely: “Fundamentals of Corporate Banking Credit”, “The Complete Guide to Trade Finance Operations” and “The Standby Letters of Credit”. The books include comprehensive material on:
